In-House Resources for Fast Answers

Our pets can’t tell us in words what’s bothering them when they don’t feel well. That’s why veterinary diagnostics like lab tests and diagnostic imaging are so important. They give us answers about what’s going on inside your pet’s body so we can quickly and accurately identify a problem and know how to treat it. Diagnostic tests are important parts of regular wellness visits.

The diagnostic testing available at Riverview Animal Clinic

For your convenience and to speed your pet’s time to treatment, we have invested in an array of state-of-the art diagnostic technology that’s available onsite at our facility. These in-house resources include:

  • A fully equipped, modern laboratory for performing an extensive range of hematology (blood) and organ function assessment.
  • Leading-edge diagnostic imaging modalities including ultrasound, echocardiography (EKG), and digital radiography (x-ray) including dental x-rays

In addition, we have established relationships with trusted board-certified experts in veterinary ophthalmology, radiology, cardiology, clinical pathology, orthopedics and other specialties should we need more advanced expertise to interpret a test result and/or develop the optimal treatment for your pet.
